Indie singer and songwriter Mount Carmell sings from her heart and with her soul. Her debut solo single “To Become Human” is out now on all digital platforms!

Mount Carmell is a member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and a registered songwriter with BMI. She has performed at the BlueBird Cafe, at the Gospel Music DOVE Showcase and onstage with Francis Collins at a Faith and Science conference. Outside of music, she is a scientist, writer and mom.

Worship Leader

Music is how I feel closest to God, and I love sharing that experience with others as a worship leader. At its core, worship is an intentional act—I put myself in a posture that is deliberate, seeking to experience something and someone greater than myself. It’s an invitation to the already all present God that I am ready to encounter him, and want to hear what he has to say.

Now available for booking worship.

Leading worship at the McClure Center for Faith and Science.

To Become Human

Mount Carmell’s new song “To Become Human” explores the biology and theology of what it means to be human, putting this in conversation with the incarnation.
